Rock-Out connects musicians with the people they need to make music happen — other players, venues, studios, teachers, sound techs, and music shops. We measure success by what you do off the platform: bands formed, rehearsals booked, gigs played, recordings finished, tours rolled out.
We don't sell engagement metrics back to you. There are no follower counts, no like buttons on profiles, no algorithmic feeds designed to keep you scrolling. Find your people, set up the next thing, and go play.

Build a profile and browse
Pick your profile type, add what you play (or what you book, teach, record, mix, or sell), and start browsing real people in your state. Use Matches to surface artists who line up with your style and goals, or jump into Rock-Out Radio to hear what musicians on the platform actually sound like.
Connect, on your terms
Send a buddy request, or skip straight to a direct message. DMs are encrypted at rest in our database, and you can block anyone, any time. Your profile, location, and contact info are governed by privacy settings you control: public, buddies-only, or private.
Make music in the real world
Form a band, post a one-time session on the Session Board, apply to a venue's gig, book a studio or a teacher. The point isn't to live here — it's to use this place to set up the next rehearsal, gig, or recording, and then go do it.
Hear the artists on the platform.
A true random shuffle of songs uploaded by Rock-Out artists — no charts, no trending, no algorithmic favorites.
Filter by state, city, genre, and instrument. Each track shows the artist's profile picture and name with three follow-up actions: view their profile, message them, or see their upcoming gigs.
Privacy is enforced at every step — anonymous listeners only hear public artists; logged-in members also hear their accepted buddies. No play counts, no likes, no saves. Just a queue position so you know where you are.

Three visibility levels
Each profile is public, buddies-only, or private — and the rule is enforced everywhere, including in Rock-Out Radio.
Encrypted direct messages
Message contents are encrypted at rest in our database. Block anyone you don't want to hear from.
Real moderation
Report users or content from any profile. A real moderation team reviews reports, with full DMCA support for rights holders.
